When court resumed about two hours after the scheduled start, the judge did not elaborate on exactly what the hearing was about, though he indicated it did concern some evidence.

Swift's lawyers called the photo taken at the event "damning" proof that Mueller groped her.

Mueller's lawyer showed the eight jurors the photograph which was taken at the time of the alleged assault.

His lawyer questioned him at the civil trial and Mueller said that he possibly touched Swift's ribs with a closed hand accidentally during an encounter that lasted no more than 40 seconds.

Two years after the incident, he sued Taylor, her mom and her management team of slander and getting him fired. Swift's security team then approached Mueller, accused him of inappropriately touching the singer, and asked him to leave the arena.

McFarland also suggested that Mueller may have been a victim of mistaken identity and that Swift might be confusing him with another man who was there. He was sacked the next day on the basis he had violated a "morals clause", according to Mr McFarland. This case highlights the importance of sexual assault and it's a great experience for girls to see that it will not be tolerated.

He is seeking financial damages from Swift, who countersued him for assault and battery.

Mueller is seeking up to $3 million in damages.

Proceedings have ended for the day at a civil trial involving a groping claim by Taylor Swift against a former Denver disc jockey. Immediately after the photo, she yelled to her team, "Dude, that guy just grabbed my ass". Swift is due to give evidence later this week.

Swift's lawyer argued the entertainer also had no impact on Mueller's career stalling, saying the DJ had only sent packets containing his headshot, biography and audio samples to the top 20 radio markets following his dismissal from KYGO. Swift, her mother and attorneys are back in court today.

Mueller also referenced a fist during questioning from his own attorney, Gabriel McFarland, who asked if it was a change in Mueller's position to say that he denied the accusation because his hand was in a fist.

Mueller testified that he and Melcher were in the room with Swift and five other people: Swift, a photographer, a personal assistant, a tour manager, and a bodyguard. But they do want others to know "that you can always say no".

During his testimony, Mueller described his relationship with his direct supervisor, KYGO program director Eddie Haskell, as "difficult".

Attorneys for Mueller and Swift opened the trial Tuesday morning with starkly different versions of what happened at that June 2, 2013, concert at the Pepsi Center.
