Arsene Wenger: Gunners could sell Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil in January

Ozil's current contract with Arsenal expires at the end of the season and there have been no developments in the German signing a new deal as of yet.

Both players are in the final year of their contracts at The Emirates Stadium and manager Arsene Wenger has conceded for the first time that they may not last the full campaign. "I always said the fact that we didn't find an agreement a year ago doesn't mean the player will necessarily leave".

"Both players look happy and, overall, I hope the situation can be turned round, but at the moment we are not close enough to announce anything".

But while Arsenal have yet to make a concrete offer amid reported interest from clubs like Manchester United, Ozil hasn't ruled out extending his contract with the Gunners, the source said.

For the past few years the Gunners have forced to accept Sanchez being overworked throughout the summer on worldwide duty, reporting back for club duty without a long break.

Hamas and Fatah would return to Cairo in early December to assess implementation of the agreement, the official said. Egypt has previously attempted to help Hamas and Fatah create a united government for Gaza and the West Bank.

"I don't think so", said the Frenchman when asked if Wilshere had to leave in January. Chile's loss on Wednesday meant they failed to qualify for next year's World Cup.

Sanchez was part of the Chile team that were eliminated from the World Cup on Tuesday - in part due to an error for Colombia by his Arsenal team-mate David Ospina - and will be assessed for both his mental and physical state when he returns to England this afternoon.

"The message from Wenger to Sanchez today was: "Give me until January and then you can go", Keown told the Daily Mail.

"When you don't have the World Cup, you focus on your club".

"Jack can open space, he can play in tight areas and can get out of them. I will always appreciate him and I will always wish him the best wherever he goes".
