Google must improve sales for Pixel 2

Alphabet Inc. (GOOG) subsidiary Google is holding an event at its offices tomorrow to unveil a slate of new products.

The most awaited launch is the new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, dubbed Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. As mentioned above, the main differentiating factor is the display as Pixel 2 flaunts a 5-inch full HD display with a standard aspect ratio of 16:9. Google Home speaker is also powered by the voice assistant as well.

Google Home Mini is said to retail for just $49, which is approximately Rs 3,200.

The listing explains to us that this is indeed a smaller Google Home. Apart from these, both smartphones are expected to flaunt dual front stereo speakers, IP67 rating, Active Edge feature ala HTC U11 (review) and E-SIM.

UPDATE 2: The guys at 9to5Google dug deeper into the Walmart listing just before it was pulled and found another couple of images, including one of the back of the device and also a new angle of the Pixel 2 XL.

The Pixelbook is expected to sell at the a top-tier premium price point of the Chromebook, with the base model starting at a whopping $1,199, with a separate stylus pen accessory quite similar to the Microsoft Surface Pen.
