Unless you've been living under a rock, you're well aware that McGregor mad his much anticipated professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather back in August.

McGregor had previously been admonished by Goddard at last month's UFC show in Poland when McGregor was getting too close to the Octagon during Artem Lobov's fight against Andre Fili.

McGregor, not a licensed cornerman, was not permitted to enter the cage, but stood during the bout in front of the media seats bellowing instructions to his associate in the contest.

Though McGregor's actions are inexcusable, it's not a complete mystery why the UFC lightweight champion might have an issue with Goddard.

It's not the first time McGregor has got himself into hot water in a watching brief.

Brand New Star Wars Trilogy
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now only a month from release and we can expect plenty more publicity over the next few weeks. Now, all we have left to see is whether some Porgs make their way into this new trilogy.

The Irish superstar then appeared to push Goddard up against the cage as he angrily shouted in his face.

"In addition, Mr. McGregor assaulted Referee Mark Goddard and a Bellator staff". Walking around the cage side wherever and whenever he wanted.

One can expect McGregor (21-3) to face serious discipline for putting his hands on an official, which could jeopardize his return date, which UFC had hoped would be December 30 for the promotion's New Year's Eve weekend card in Las Vegas. It is unclear if "The Notorious" will be penalized for Friday's incident.

UFC president Dana White has released fighters in the past for shoving an official. "You're done here. He's been apologizing on Twitter, but he's done". Many have wondered if we'd ever see McGregor fight in the UFC again.
