Honor launched its latest V-series smartphone - the V10, at an event held in China on November 28th. The smartphone, which delivers full-screen viewing experience, will retail at AED 999.

Honor 7X sports a 5.93-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio.

The worst thing you could say about the design is that it's a little derivative - a potential nitpick which also applies to the OnePlus 5T and Honor 7X. Huawei's sub-brand Honor has launched the 7X in India starting at Rs. 12,999. For selfies, there is an 8MP camera.

The device has premium build, and while is not exactly the same dimensions as either Huawei's Mate 10 or Mate 10 Pro shares numerous traits of the two.

Aimed at "young people and those who are young at heart" according to President George Zhao, Honor also has several experiential stores in France, Spain, Italy, India and Russian Federation "where young people can come together".

The Honor 7X will come in two variants of internal storage, i.e. 32 GB and 64 GB which is further expandable to 256 GB.

Honor has launched a pair of new devices for the global market - the Honor View 10 (V10) and the Honor 7x.

As mentioned above, 7x is a mid-range phone and will run on Huawei's self-developed OS EMUI 5.1 which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It also supports dual 4G and dual VoLTE along with other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, IR Blaster, NFC, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. There is no waterproofing here, unfortunately, which is not that surprising, when you think of the price of the Honor 7X, but it would have been a nice surprise.

The smartphone offers 6GB RAM and offers 128GB of internal storage. Although it's not completely flat since there are those two camera bumps for the dual-camera setup there. There's also a 13MP front facing camera. The phone draws power from a non-removable 3340 mAh battery.

"Additionally, Honor is immensely proud of the quality control it undertakes in producing every phone". Honor SuperCharge can charge the battery to 50 percent in just 30 minutes while operating at a low temperature and voltage. It is priced at €499 (£449) and will be available in Midnight Black and Navy Blue (no word on USA pricing or any future launch for the Gold or Red versions just yet, sorry!). The phone is available in either Aurora Blue, Gold, or Black colorways.
