Hundreds mourn deaths of 2 students in NM school shooting

A shooter killed two students Thursday morning at a New Mexico high school, and the shooter is also dead, PEOPLE confirms. He says the shooter also was dead but didn't say if the suspect was among the three.

Casey J. Marquez and Francisco I. Fernandez were the two victims in the shooting.

Police got initial reports of gunfire at a New Mexico school shortly after first period began.

Aztec High School, about 180 miles north of Albuqurque, N.M., is located in the Four Corners region of the state near the Navajo Nation.
