Monaco chief Vasilyev warns Arsenal, Liverpool off Lemar

Lemar has become one of Europe's most sought after young talents after spectacularly rising to prominence during his sides superb run to the Champions League semi-final last season.

Lemar has been linked with Chelsea ever-since his deadline day move to Arsenal collapsed in the summer. However, the Ligue 1 champs have now confirmed that no deal will be happening at the start of the New Year.

That will come as a huge boost for the Reds who could be looking to replace Coutinho in the January window. Due to this, the trio of these English giants has been desperate to add him to their squad, with the likes of Arsene Wenger, Antonio Conte and Jurgen Klopp all knowing what he can bring to their sides.

Yet despite all the rumours circulating, Vasilyev says that he has no intention of allowing the club's best players to leave the club.

Moreover it relieves South Africa of any credible ability to play a role in brokering peace between the Israelis and Palestinians. The South African Board of Jewish Deputies and the South African Zionist Federation jointly condemned the ANC's decision.

The France worldwide was the subject of huge transfer speculation in the summer and Premier League outfit Arsenal were close to acquiring his services after launching an audacious £90million bid.

Liverpool followed suit with two bids for the Frenchman with 48 hours left on the clock but Monaco refused to sell under any circumstances, putting the transfer on hold.

"The sales of important players is not on the agenda", Vasilyev said. "We have never spoken [to Lemar or his entourage] about the possibility of a January departure".
