William even added that his son had been "nice" during the past year - the schoolboy prince had circled nice rather than naughty at the top of the letter.

"Dear Father Christmas this year I have been naughty/nice", it began.

Prince William handed over the letter to "Santa" today during his royal tour in Helsinki, Finland. That's when he handed him George's Christmas list, which one thing written on it: a police auto.

The royal appeared to be in good spirits as he wandered the stalls of the student-driven event, testing out the latest tech on display.

The Prince was heard saying: "I've seen you and I had to give you this letter". "He hasn't written down many requests, so I think one request is probably OK".

He has, however, already started school and became an adorable meme during his short four years on this earth.

Kensington Palace posted a photo of Prince William delivering the letter as he visited the Christmas Markets in Esplanade Park.

The cute exchange came after the Prince met members of the Finnish Air Force at Helsinki airport. Impressive royal behavior for a 4-year-old.

"And for me personally I hope it means he stays out of my fridge, it will stop him scrounging off all my food, he's done over the last few years".
