Sarah Palin's oldest son, Track, arrested on domestic violence charges

Track Palin, the son of former governor Sarah Palin, allegedly assaulted his father, Todd Palin, before being arrested on burglary and assault charges at the family's home in Wasilla, Alaska, on Saturday, December 16, Us Weekly can confirm. He was still jailed at Mat-Su Pretrial Facility as of Monday evening, according to the Times.

They told officers Track became enraged after the refusal to use the truck, and told the family he was going to come by the house anyways to "beat his ass", referring to Todd. Todd told Track not to come since he'd been drinking and was on pain meds, but Track came anyway. Track Palin then broke a window, entered the house and began beating his father, the newspaper reported.

He eventually surrendered, police said, and he was taken into custody. Upon arriving, cops say they found Todd fleeing in a vehicle and bleeding from the face. with Track still inside.

Police documents, published by the LA Times newspaper, said Palin called the police at about 8.40pm on Saturday night to say her son was on "some type of medication" and was allegedly "freaking out".

Track Palin was soon after arrested on felony charges of first-degree burglary as well as misdemeanor criminal mischief, and fourth-degree assault.

In 2016, Sarah Palin blamed her son's violent actions on PTSD-and of course, Obama. He said he had "consumed a few beers". The Army veteran was arrested in January 2016 for threatening to shoot himself with an AR-15 after he punched and kicked his girlfriend in a drunken tirade, police reports alleged. Track Palin was arraigned on three misdemeanor charges - fourth-degree assault, interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime and possession of a firearm while intoxicated. "They come back wondering if there is that respect for what it is that their fellow soldiers and airmen and every other member of the military have sacrificially given to this country and that starts at the top".
