The result extended the team's road winning streak to 14 games and puts the Patriots one step closer to winning the AFC East championship.

Brady needed to simply stand aside and let the Patriots' rejuvenated rushing attack wear down the Bills in a game New England never trailed. Lewis had a 44-yard gain early on in the half and Burkhead busted out for a career-long 31-yard gain on New England's final drive of the half.

The Bills would receive their offense in the first half from an unlikely source in that of a special teamer and backup quarterback Joe Webb. Linebacker Trevor Reilly will miss Sunday's game with a concussion, defensive end Trey Flowers is out with an injury to his ribs, wide receiver Chris Hogan is out with a shoulder injury and offensive tackle Marcus Cannon is still nursing an ankle injury.

Now Qualcomm files new patent infringement complaints against Apple
In January, Apple charged Qualcomm for patent royalty rebates of around $1 billion that latter purportedly withheld from Apple. In a related suit, Qualcomm sued the contract manufacturers that make Apple's phones, but Apple joined in to defend them.

The Patriots will receive the ball to begin the second half. Burkhead finished a 70-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown and found the end zone on a 14-yard run up the middle to cap a 78-yard march. The 26-year-old played in nine games this season for Tampa Bay and caught two passes for 21 yards and had three carries for 17 yards before being released on Nov 17. The defense would feed off the momentum of their offense as the quickly forced a Bills punt following a big David Harris sack on third down on the very next possession. With over 30-all objective yards on the drive to be capped off by a 14-yard rushing touchdown for Burkhead would extend the lead even further in the Patriots favor making it 23-3. The former Buffalo Bills back will not get a chance to take it to his former team on Sunday. But the real story here was that questionable hit in the fourth quarter on Bills' cornerback Tre'Davious White following an interception of Tom Brady.

The Miami Dolphins ended their five-game losing run with a 35-9 victory over the Denver Broncos, condemning their visitors to an eighth straight loss.
