Watch the unhinged new trailer for Kojima and Del Toro's Death Stranding

For the past few years on The Game Awards, "Metal Gear Solid" director Hideo Kojima has consistently revealed a new trailer for the upcoming "Death Stranding".

Now this is a game that is mind fucking everyone when it first got announced. The most recent trailer features a range of facts, such as Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen's casting.

At last night's Game Awards show, Kojima was there with main protagonist Norman Reedus to show the audience an update on the first game from Kojima Productions which releases exclusively on PlayStation 4. Hideo Kojima was invited onstage at the PSX keynote this evening after we all sat through ten more minutes of oil, babies, and Norman Reedus so he could answer questions about his social life.

Others tried to piece together the story, after Kojima revealed there are clues in the two trailers that may hint at the game's plot. As it so happens, soon after Death Stranding was revealed previous year, the director proclaimed that "the game has already begun", despite there being plenty of days in development left, which sent fans down a research rabbit hole to mine secrets from the game's first trailer.

Death Stranding is now in development for PlayStation 4.
