In a bit of a twist, Bandai Namco partnered with Nintendo to announce the next wave of Dark Souls ports during Thursday's truncated Nintendo Direct. But who cares, it's one of the most critically-acclaimed games coming to one of the most innovative consoles of recent years; that's enough in our book. The biggest of these is Dark Souls: Remastered, which is due out May 25 for Switch as well as PC and the other consoles.
Pokken Tournament DX is getting a new DLC Battle Pack, which will be released in two waves. Playing the game on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X will allow players to enjoy the game at upscaled 4K resolution.

Put simply there's a motherload of games and extra content coming to the Switch to bolster its now healthy lineup. As part of this Nintendo Direct, Dark Souls Remastered will be revealed, updating the original game to be playable portably for the first time.
It looks like Nintendo Switch will have another stellar year. But there was an abundance of tidbits that should also have Switch owners excited.
