David Letterman's New Netflix Show Launches Next Week with Guest Barrack Obama

The first episode will be available on Netflix from Friday 12 January, and each of the new episodes will be released once per month after that.

Former President Barack Obama is scheduled to give his first post-White House interview in the USA next week on David Letterman's new Netflix show.

As you can see, the new show is called My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, but we'll still introduce which guests will be appearing on the show. He's just the first in a series of big names in store for the series with each episode focusing on "one extraordinary figure whom Dave finds fascinating". The former late-night star may be coming out of retirement, but he will be keeping his epic retirement beard.

He also said the music on this album will showcase his roots of growing up in the south and listening to country music. Earlier on Tuesday, Justin announced that his new album Man of the Woods would be coming out February 2.

Season 1 will consist of six hour-long episodes that will be launched monthly. Obama will be the inaugural guest on the show's first episode, marking his first television talk show appearance since leaving office.

Letterman's Worldwide Pants production company is teaming with RadicalMedia for the series, which Letterman says is a welcome back to the spotlight after his lengthy "Late Show" run.

His return to television for Netflix was announced in August 2017, when the quick-witted host said that Pope Francis and President Donald Trump would be top of his wish-list for the series. Per Netflix, the host will also explore various topics on his own and feature in-the-field segments that express his curiosity and humor.
