Now the company has increased the size of that prototype and announced a 65-inch rollable OLED display prototype. The centerpiece, as LG mentioned earlier, is AI: all three lines support deep learning and Google Assistant control to allow for natural language voice control over everything from the TV itself to smart home devices.

After announcing the world's first 88-inch OLED 8K resolution television, South Korean display technology pioneer LG unveiled another innovative TV with extreme bendable capabilities. LG Display also intends to expand production of OLED displays through its investment in China.

LG appears to have lifted the bar one more time by revealing what can be dubbed as the OLED screen with maximum resolution for now. The TV would be easier to store and tempting for anyone who doesn't want a huge TV dominating the living room when they aren't watching it.

Meghan Markle Is Changing the Royal Family's Rules
Last month, the U.S. actress had 1.9 million people following her posts on Instagram , and more than 350,000 Twitter followers. He also told the BBC he'd work in some Kendrick Lamar because "Meghan is from the west coast".

LCD shipments dipped 1.6% month-on-month in November to 24.4 million units as Black Friday demand in the United States declined compared to 2017, said IHS.

Finally, Tim Alessi, Vice President Marketing, talked about LG's new OLED and Super UHD TVs for 2018. We saw Samsung's range-topping 8K TV at a behind-closed-doors event and we came away impressed. This technology makes speakers completely obsolete, as it emanates sound directly from the OLED panel. Additional information were not shared by LG including estimate on pricing when it would be up for sale. Unnecessary to state, it will be much higher in comparison to QLED 4K resolution 88-inch TV of Samsung that has a price tag of $20,000. The vast majority of the content is still HD and even the notable 4K sources like Netflix and Amazon have only a fraction of 4K content to offer. For instance, you should be able to summon Assistant on your TV and ask it to switch on LG's air purifier or adjust the temperature of the AC. Sony and Panasonic said that they have plans to introduce 8K TVs by 2020.

There's no price or availability to speak of here, because this is still only a prototype looking for a TV brand to pick it up and try to sell it as a retail product. The gesture from LG Display, however, does provide us a glimpse at the future.
