The five-time Grammy victor revealed on New Year's Day that she was finally able to sip on her desired beverage after a beyond chilly night. We want to be clear that we have the utmost respect for Ms. Carey as an artist and acknowledge her tremendous accomplishments in the industry. We're told their solution is to put Mariah in a chair and literally roll her from the stage to the ball.

Not only has Mariah proved that she is courageous by gracing the 2018 New Year's Rockin' Eve stage after having a hard performance in 2017, but she kicked off the first meme for 2018.

The 47-year-old pop diva had a trying time in 2017: she spent most of it embroiled in a nasty financial dispute with ex-fiance James Packer.

This time around, however, the siren has had a chance at redemption, and the general consensus is an appreciation for a major upgrade from last year's blunder.

Deadly NYC fire lit by child playing with stove
Like smoke up a chimney, the fire was sucked into the hallways, and the entire five-story building was engulfed within minutes. The family, a husband and wife and four children, got out.

Last year, Carey's live performance in Times Square on New Year's Eve was a hot mess. The singer ultimately deciding that she could "rough it" and join everyone else who struggled through without a fresh hot beverage.

The singer then launched into her 1993 ballad Hero with backup singers in white robes behind her.

After the show, Mariah saw the amusing side and posted a snap of her posing with a warm brew and wrote: "Found my tea!"

Her appearance comes exactly one year after a performance on the show that she said left her "mortified". It will be Britney Spears' first television performance in all of 2018, she last performed on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve in 2002. I'm just going to let the audience sing.
