Titans receiver Eric Decker, who had been having a rough game, reeled in a 22-yard catch in the end zone to give Tennessee a 22-21 lead at Kansas City.

The rally began with Mariota taking matters into his own hands - the Titans' franchise quarterback completed a 6-yard touchdown pass to himself to cut the Chiefs' lead to 21-10 with 6:31 remaining in the third quarter. There was also the rumor that RB DeMarco Murray will likely not be back this season, and that Derrick Henry is seen as the featured back going into the future.

Kansas City converted on third-and-6 early in the drive, when the Titans called timeout in hopes of getting the ball back, then moved effortlessly downfield the rest of the way.

His pass to the end zone was deflected by Darrelle Revis right back to Mariota, who not only caught it but dived into the end zone for the score.

His counterpart, Marcus Mariota, was 7 of 13 for 82 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. The Chiefs finished the drive with a touchdown.

Two of the Titans' best wins of the seasons came in Weeks 2 and 3-a 37-16 win over Jacksonville, followed by a 33-27 win over Seattle-which saw Tennessee squash their opponents' run game to the tune of just 168 rushing yards combined.

North Korean missile test crashed into one of country's own cities
A ballistic missile launched by North Korea previous year failed in flight and crashed back to the ground, it has been reported. However, according to reports, North Korea discarded Sinpo as a ballistic testing site after April for some reason.

QB Alex Smith and the Chiefs offense drove down the field on that drive and got seven more points on a DeMarcus Robinson touchdown reception. Instead, the Chiefs ended up losing 22-21 and their postseason home heartache continued. They could only muster negative-two yards on three plays, and their long field goal attempt was shanked off the left upright by Harrison Butker.

On the Chiefs' ensuring drive, tight end Travis Kelce appeared to lose the ball on a hit by Johnathan Cyprien.

In addition to throwing more than 200 yards, Mariota rushed eight times for 46 yards, out rushing the NFL's leading rusher in Kareem Hunt. Eager to melt the clock, the Titans put the ball in Henry's gut.

The clock wound down and the Titans won their first playoff game since the 2003 season.

The Titans will now face either the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers next week in the AFC Divisional Round.
