Bill Gates, the man Dennis Feinstein once famously referred to as "like a super-nerd", is reportedly set to appear on TV's nerdiest sitcom: The Big Bang Theory.

The Big Bang Theory is now in its eleventh season. According to the show plot, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) hosts Gates at work and her friendly neighbours would be seen trying everything to meet him.

The Microsoft founder-turned-billionaire philanthropist will play himself in a March episode of the series, EW reports.

This isn't the first time Gates has guest starred in a television series as himself.

Unemployment on the rise as wages continue to lag
Meanwhile the number of people in work continued to rise over the last three months of 2017, up by 88,000 to 32.15 million. Hepburn added: "It can not be stressed enough that Brexit remains the single biggest threat to our economy".

Bill Gates will have a guest appearance in The Big Bang Theory. Almost two decades have passed since Gates' appearance on Frasier; we can bet that his experience on The Big Bang Theory will be quite different. Gates' acting skills need not be doubted as he is seen to be quite comfortable with the cameras (don't you remember Gates dressing up as Austin Powers in a brief appearance he made in one of his internal videos with Steve Ballmer or the imitation of Morpheus from The Matrix).

It should be fun to see how Bill Gates compares to the other guest stars who have played themselves on The Big Bang Theory.

Microsoft's founder Bill Gates will become an actor.
