Jamie Lee Curtis starts shooting for 'Halloween'

This October, we're getting a new film in the Halloween franchise for the first time in almost a decade, but this isn't just another in a string of endless sequels or a full reboot with an all-new cast. In addition to the return of Curtis, the film will also feature Nick Castle, the original Michael Myers (credited in the first film as "The Shape") donning the mask once again to create even more synergy with the 1978 classic.

Earlier this morning on Twitter, Jamie Lee Curtis posted an awesome photo from the set, standing alongside Green, announcing that the first day of shooting has begun!

The actress is returning to the franchise in David Gordon Green's new "Halloween" movie.

The 2018 Halloween film will also star Virginia Gardner, Miles Robbins, Dylan Arnold, Drew Scheid, and Will Patton.

As you can see in her Tweet, Jamie Lee Curtis is really doing her best to match the part.
