Talking about the trade facilitation centre set up in Varanasi at a cost of Rs 250 crore, Irani said, "Due to the inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we not only laid the foundation stone, but also started the centre". Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday Uttar Pradesh can be the growth engine of the country and announced a defence industrial corridor in Bundelkhand to bring about development in one of the most backward regions of the State. For facilitating exporters, Irani suggested that the Uttar Pradesh government set up an "international warehousing centre" and said, "Handicrafts should also be associated with e-commerce, so that national and global buyers can purchase them". Modi said the Kumbh Mela could improve tourism.

"The PM also appreciated the One District-One Product (ODOP) policy of the Yogi government". During the event, the Prime Minister also launched Nivesh Mishra, a single-window digital clearance portal. The PM has said that UP is the number one state in terms of productivity of natural resources.
