Temperatures are supposed to be above freezing mid-week, which could provide some melting.

Sunday looks cooler with more clouds and mixed showers possibly changing to rain showers late in northern NH and rain and pockets of freezing rain south giving way to rain showers during the afternoon.

On Sunday, the sun will rise at 7:29 a.m. and set at 6:00:20 p.m. - the first time that has occurred in the 6 o'clock hour since November 4, the day before the time change.

"Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will result in slippery roads and limited visibility", the weather service continued. Cloudy, with a high near 33. Winds will mainly be out of the west causing some blowing a drifting snow to cover north-south roads.

A 20 percent chance of snow. Higher amounts in the 2 to 3 inch range will be possible north of I-70 and around 2 inches along the I-70 corridor.

Saturday night - A chance of snow and freezing drizzle before 10 p.m., then a chance of snow.

Frank Reich will take Indianapolis Colts head coaching job
Reich was Peyton Manning's quarterbacks coach in 2009 and '10 before coaching Reggie Wayne and the rest of the receivers in 2011. The Colts can not repeat the embarrassment of unpredictability they experienced with their pursuit of McDaniels.

Sunday night, it will be clear with a low of 12 and a light and variable wind, according to the weather service.

"Snow will come to an end by midnight, with snowfall accumulations expected to range from a trace to 3" in the Denver metro area and eastern plains.
