Arsenal ended a run of three successive English Premier League defeats with a comfortable 3-0 home win over Watford yesterday.

Wenger took over early in the 1996-97 Premier League campaign after his contract at Japanese club Grampus Eight was mutually terminated. A good win, a slap in the face for Deeney, a penalty save from Cech, and to cap it all we scored our 1000th Premier League goal!

Arsenal's Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny said he and his teammates are doing their best to end the season on a high note, insisting that under-fire coach Arsene Wenger is "among the best managers in the world". On top of that he saved a penalty today. It was fortunate to save it against Deeney.

"He went, in one week, from hell to heaven". I'm sure Ozil enjoys playing with these two world class players because that's what they are. I like both situations because in the first situation he's shown a lot of humility and responsibility. It shows a huge level of motivation and intelligence, and he shows plenty of that. "Because you don't last in the game for such a long time if you're not intelligent". Winning the Europa League would also achieve that goal and, with that in mind, Wenger was impressed with the way his players have stayed united despite their recent problems. "Yes, it plays a part".

No more Florida jinx: Barford, Gafford power Arkansas to semifinals
Williams and Schofield combined for 28 points and 13 rebounds in the December loss to Arkansas . "And that's what we did". Despite the loss, Chris Chiozza and Jalen Hudson became the 54th and 55th members of Florida's 1,000-point club vs.

Watford controlled the game either side of halftime, but was punished for failing to make its dominance pay when Aubameyang doubled the lead in the 59th as he rounded Karnezis after latching onto Mkhitaryan's through ball.

Mkhitaryan sealed the game with a with a left footed shot in the 77th minute.

That said, they did head into the match off the back of an impressive European night with AC Milan, a game in which the visitors won 0-2. That kept us out of trouble. We took advantage of their weak moments. Overall it was a convincing win and an important one. "The crowd gets up - "Yeah, we've got somebody who can win it" - and they all just backed off". We had a nightmare week. It's like rain in England. "I am a big fan of Conte". But after what happened in that week, I understand a bit.
