For those who're not aware, Beats is the same company which was acquired by Apple in 2014 for $3 billion. According to Kuo's prediction, we shouldn't expect to see the new Apple headphones until Q4 2018 at the very earliest.
Along with the over-ear headphones, Apple is said to also be working on their second interaction of AirPods where the company will introduce some improvements, as well as possible color options.
According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via Apple Insider), Apple is creating over-the-ear headphones that will be released this fall when the new iPhones are announced and released. The new headphones will probably be wireless in nature, like the AirPods. Now, this is not the only wireless charger in the market but is, for now, the only one that allows charging of up to three different devices at the same time.
Apple is apparently working on a pair of high-end over-the-ear headphones. If the headphones launch-which Kuo says is unlikely before the fourth quarter of 2018, at minimum-Apple would likely position them as a premium device.
USA to move to 'phase 2' if North Korea sanctions don't work
Pence foreshadowed these sanctions during a stop in Japan two weeks ago before he visited the games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. In his speech, Trump said "hopefully something positive can happen" from the sanctions pressure.
While not stated, there's a good chance these would be wireless (possibly using the AirPods' rumored wireless chip upgrade) and would rely heavily on Siri voice integration.
Apple has EarPods and AirPods, and soon it may have MuffPods. The users will now be able to activate the little helper simply by saying the phrase "Hey Siri". He also mentioned that the headphones will have better sound quality and battery life than the AirPods and will feature an all-new design. The company already makes use of W1 chip in AirPods for easy pairing and powerful A8 chip in HomePod for a balanced sound.
The third-generation AirPods will supposedly be water resistant.
