The network test will be a free download from the eShop.

It's not just the Dark Souls Remastered network test that fans should be excited for. By tapping this amiibo on the Joy-Con or Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, the popular "Praise the Sun" gesture can be used (gesture can also be obtained through regular game play).

Additionally, Switch owners can purchase a Solaire of Astoria Amiibo that is also launching alongside Dark Soul Remastered. However, this freedom won't extend to the Amiibo figure's availability.

First released in 2011 for PS3 and Xbox 360, the original Dark Souls essentially created a genre with its challenging combat and daunting exploration, both of which combined to create an unforgettable adventure. Nintendo has stated the amiibo will be available in limited qualities, so make sure you keep your eye on the page.
