Police officials told ABC 7 Chicago that Jacob Garcia was charged with battery, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, resisting an officer, and depriving an officer of means of protection.

The passenger, named by police as Jacob A. Garcia, had to be forcibly removed by police officers.

A man was arrested after being repeatedly Tasered on board an aircraft for allegedly touching another passenger inappropriately and making racial slurs.

After the altercation, police offers were called to the scene and Garcia was asked to exit the aircraft, but he refused and resisted the officers' efforts to remove him, police said. "Due to Mr. Garcia's actions and the close quarters of the engagement, Officer Desroches was unable to holster his ECW, which caused the number of cycles".

When one officer tried to pick him up, Garcia allegedly grabbed the officer's handgun.

Officer Roody Desroches, who is holding Garcia by the collar of his blue plaid shirt, agrees, and gives Garcia a heads-up: "I'm about to tase you!" he says, discharging the electronic control weapon.

Passenger videos show police zapping the man as they struggled to get him off the plane.
