Four more of the shell companies have owned properties in which public records say Hannity or members of his family have lived.

Fox News Media Relations Senior Manager sent NCRM an email in response to an article we published on the Hannity housing fiasco. HANNITY was also highly critical of President OBAMA for the foreclosure rate during his administration but did not disclose that he had invested in foreclosures at a discount while criticizing the President for them.

Hannity has a portfolio that obtained funding from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, under the National Housing Act loan program, which was first guaranteed under President Obama's administration, a fact he did not mention when interviewing secretary Ben Carson previous year. Hannity did not disclose his cooperation with HUD when he had HUD Secretary Ben Carson on his show in June 2017. Numerous properties were bought at discounts in 2013 after foreclosures, and others were bought with funding help from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Guardian said, citing public records.

"I have never discussed with anybody at HUD the original loans that were obtained in the Obama years, nor the subsequent refinance of such loans, as they are a private matter", Hannity said.

According to study co-author Rasmus Nielsen , "This is the first time that we really have a system like that in humans to study". This is not the first time that examples of continuing human evolution among specific groups of people have been discovered.

The Fox News host found himself pulled into the Michael Cohen controversy last week, after it was revealed in court that he was one of the clients of Donald Trump's embattled attorney. "I had no role in, or responsibility for, any HUD involvement in any of these investments", said Hannity. Hannity had not disclosed that fact, and said he only asked for Cohen's advice on some real-estate matters.

According to a review of publicly available records, Hannity is the "hidden" owner behind multiple shell companies, each using variations of the same set of letters (the initials of his children).

"I doubt you would find it very surprising that most people prefer to keep their legal and personal financial issues private", Reeve told the newspaper.

The 20 shell companies tied to Hannity were formed in Georgia and have been used to purchase properties in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Texas and Vermont.
