A rumored three-camera iPhone just got way more likely

As per reports, Apple may introduce three new iPhone models in 2019 and one out of those three may boast a triple camera module.

Pu's prediction falls in line with a separate report from the Economic Daily News, which also predicted a three-camera iPhone would release in 2019. According to new report from a well known analyst, at least one of the iPhones to feature Triple-Lens Rear camera. Details of 2019 iPhone models are scarce. Pu did not reveal any other information but a Chinese publication has mentioned that the phone will come with a 5x zoom and one of the lenses will have a 12MP resolution sensor. Apple is going to launch three new iPhones in this year.

CNET has tested the Huawei P20 Pro's cameras and found that its third camera helps it zoom in further than other phones.

An addition of a third lens would enable 3x optical zoom on an iPhone for the first time ever, allowing users to magnify an image in the viewfinder by up to 3x without any blurry reduction.

Previously numerous Apple's iPhone X users have come up connecting the breakdown of the Face ID with the back camera of the phone. To recall, the iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X all come with 2X optical zoom.

Huawei's new P20 series has three phones from which the Triple Lens setup is available on the most premium device i.e. Huawei P20 Pro phone.

The report adds that the similarity in size is due to smaller bezels on the 6.5-inch iPhone claimed to launch in 2018. The support document, obtained by 9to5Mac interestingly talks about fixing the iPhone X's rear camera in order to get FaceID working. Apple is expected to launch the 2018 iPhone sometime around the month of September.
