Another US diplomat injures two motorcyclists in Islamabad.

Chad Rex Ausburn was shifted to Police Station and investigation are underway. A case was also registered against the driver under Sections 279 (Rash driving or riding on a public way), 320 (Punishment for manslaughter by rash or negligent driving), 337-G (Punishment for hurt by rash or negligent driving) and 427 (Mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees) of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The U.S. Embassy said the American diplomat's role in the accident had been resolved.

The motorcyclists, who were immediately shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital, were declared to be stable. Ausburn produced his diplomatic card issued by the foreign office along with a valid driving licence to police.

The diplomat was later handed over to the Foreign Office after his documents were verified.

San Jose Sharks get chomped by Las Vegas Golden Knights in overtime
Despite Schmidt's huge goal, the Golden Knights would lose their first game of the 2018 playoffs, falling 4-3 in double overtime. Kane sniped a shot into the short side top corner, beating Marc-Andre Fleury's glove hand to cut the Sharks' deficit to 3-2.

On April 7, authorities said, the defense attaché at the U.S. Embassy, Colonel Joseph Emanuel Hall, ran a red light on a main Islamabad road and collided with a motorcycle carrying two people. Earlier, a foreign office spokesman had said United States plans to impose new restrictions on Pakistani diplomats, including barring them from travelling more than 40 km from their posts without permission.

The police took the diplomat and his vehicle into custody and they were at the Secretariat police until a report of the incident was registered. Resultantly, Ateeq died on the spot while Raheel suffered serious injuries and was hospitalised. One was killed and the other was seriously injured.

Alice Wells, a senior State Department official, visited Islamabad to discuss the case with senior Pakistani officials, but the diplomatic tussle remains unresolved and ties between the two countries appear increasingly frayed.

But Deputy Attorney General Raja Khalid told the court that Hall has been blacklisted and can not leave Pakistan.
