Detectives in Northampton Township are seeking Daniel Kenneth Mooney, 26, in connection to the killing, Shore said.
"We believe he could be armed", Shore said, "and he certainly may be risky, based on the goings-on over the past couple of days".
According to a report in CBS News, Mooney, who once lived in the same neighborhood, was also wanted for questioning in the theft of Tyler's vehicle, a Ford Edge SUV, which was found Wednesday in northeast Philadelphia along with Mooney's cell phone.

He had been taken to Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia after suffering an apparent drug overdose around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1 near Ruth and Clearfield streets in the city's Kensington section.
He added that Mooney gained entry into the apartment through an unlocked door and killed the young couple.

Neighbors of the couple, who have only lived in the home for a year, said the attack was "heartbreaking".
