Infinity War becomes the 34th movie to cross $1 billion at the global box office, not accounting for inflation. The film is receiving a splendid response in India too. That film, of course, had the benefit of the Christmas holiday, which helped push it towards a record breaking $149.2 million second weekend. This incident took place at Cinehub Multiplex theatre in Proddatur town in Andhra Pradesh's Kadapa district, where he worked in construction.

Internationally, Infinity War amassed another $162.6 million, thanks in part to a record breaking $17.6 million opening in Russian Federation, bringing the film's worldwide total to $713.3 million - with China still to come later this month. To put the success of Infinity War in perspective; the nine zero plateau was, at best, a pipe dream for Justice League, which earned just under $658 million over 119 days.

Way back in second place was the remake of the 1987 Garry Marshall comedy Overboard with $14.75 million from 1,623 screens.

Internationally, Avengers: Infinity War added $162.6 million this weekend and has earned a total of $713.3 million, with China still to go on May 11.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed the first player who will leave his title-winning squad at the end of the season.

In fourth place was STX's I Feel Pretty with an estimated $4.9 million from 3,232 theaters.

Set to close the weekend with $4.6 million (for a cumulative total of $84.8 million), "Rampage" takes #5. We projected that, if Avengers: Infinity War dropped 40%, it would end up eclipsing the second weekend record, with our projections for the second weekend coming in at $154.5 million, but its second weekend drop was much more significant than expected, dropping 56.4%.

Next week is another lackluster week with only LIFE OF THE PARTY hitting theaters.
