On the eve of the first encounter between a sitting USA president and a leader of North Korea, American officials are maintaining any resulting agreement must lead to an end of North Korea's nuclear weapons and ballistic missile threats.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's motorcade suddenly left the St. Regis hotel in Singapore Sunday night, arriving at one of the city's most famous tourist spots, the Gardens by the Bay, minutes later.

"The entire world is watching the historic summit between (North Korea) and the United States of America", Kim told Lee through an interpreter when they met Sunday.

He also made a stop at the worldwide media centre at the F1 Pit Building, which will be the base for the thousands of journalists in town to cover the meeting between Mr Trump and Mr Kim. "We have our hostages, testing, research and all missle [sic] launches have stoped, and these pundits, who have called me wrong from the beginning, have nothing else they can say!"

Diplomats and foreign policy experts have criticized the idea of a USA president sitting down solo with the North Korean dictator, saying it heightens the potential for a misleading readout from Kim that could come into conflict with Trump's account of the exchange.

Mr Lee is slated to meet Mr Trump today at the Istana.

We have nearly nothing to go on at this point other than the fact that the game does exist, and that BEthesda are working on it. Meanwhile, Fallout Shelter will have a release on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch - and its going to come out later today.

At dawn, three hours before the summit was due to begin, Trump focused on his domestic audience reminding them of the economic successes of his presidency, with the stock market up and unemployment down.

Before the summit meeting, Trump called the Japanese prime minister, Shinzo Abe, and the South Korean president, Moon Jae-in, to brief them on developments.

"The fact that I am having a meeting is a major loss for the US, say the haters & losers", Trump wrote on Twitter from Singapore on Tuesday morning. The North Korean approach, he added was: "Let's be friends (ie, change the relationship), and then we will change our behaviour". Libya's Moammar Gadhafi gave up his nuclear weapons program, only to fall from power.

"Dennis Rodman was either drunk or on drugs (delusional) when he said I wanted to go to North Korea with him".

The seemingly warm exchange between Mr. Trump and Mr. Kim on Tuesday was particularly striking, coming just days after a public clash between the US president and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

And it could, Mr Trump has made clear, be their last shot at working together towards some promise of peace.

Mr Lee is slated to meet separately with each leader at the Istana in the run-up to the summit.
