Lakers Rumors: LA's Pitch to Sign Paul George Has Been Revealed

According to several experts at ESPN, there seems to be mounting pressure for the franchise to trade for Kawhi Leonard as LeBron James remains hesitant to be the first player to commit to the franchise. If Leonard is adamant about leaving San Antonio and can successfully convince every other team that he will only sign a long-term extension with the Lakers, the Spurs won't have much leverage in trade talks.

ESPN has an update (of sorts) on the pursuits of LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard.

The Spurs could find themselves driving up the price for Leonard, as teams grow desperate to trade for him as a means to land James or George. So with the recent rumor surrounding Philadelphia being one of the teams that has already made an offer to San Antonio, here are three questions to consider surrounding the latest trade report involving Leonard. That's because 13-year-old "Bronny", a highly regarded basketball player in OH, is very "likely" to enroll at a prestigious Los Angeles high school, according to a TMZ Sports report Wednesday, although it's apparently "not a done deal".

Spain rescues 569 migrants crossing the Mediterranean from Africa
The Lifeline is carrying 226 migrants . "These ships belong to a German NGO and do not appear in the Dutch naval registers", the tweet said.

Leonard, who can become an unrestricted free agent next summer, missed all but nine games last season due to a quad injury.

The Celtics have plenty of possible options in making an offer for Leonard. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski said on "The Rich Eisen Show" that it's unlikely Gregg Popovich would coach one of Lavar Ball's sons with the Spurs. The Celtics have always made their future the priority, so the only way they should seriously be considering Leonard is if it is on the kind of value that another team will be able to top.

Cleveland has also been linked to George, as well as All-Star point guard Chris Paul, although like the rest of the league, appears to be in a holding pattern until James makes his free agency decision. Free agency is days away, and reports suggest James wants to make his free agency decision quickly.
