We Finally Know Why Ant-Man Wasn’t In Avengers: Infinity War

In the aftermath of "Infinity War", in which the villain Thanos used the all-powerful Infinity Stones to wipe out half the life in the universe, access to the Quantum Realm could provide Ant-Man and the other superheroes with a means to stop Thanos in the past to alter the present. They were handed boards with Google's most pressing questions around the movie, its storyline and characters, and information about the actors themselves.

Ant-Man and the Wasp cast - Who's who?

Avengers: Infinity War posed a lot of questions, but before, during, and after there was one repeatedly being asked: 'Where's Ant-Man?'

Does the tone of the first post-credits scene, depicting the Pym / Van Dyne family turning to ash, feel like an ill timed twist?

No, Ant-Man isn't likely to become the face of the MCU going forward - that honor will nearly certainly fall to Spider-Man and Black Panther.

In the first scene we get a look at what Scott, Hope, Hank, and Jan have been up to in the time immediately after Jan's return. But with Scott presumably trapped inside the Quantum Realm, it remains to be seen how he will escape. He's just going in with the Ant-Man suit and a plucky attitude.

Vettel hits the front, Verstappen hits the wall
That was still slower than Hamilton's morning time of 1:27.487, however, with Vettel third then and half a second slower. He did it in his first race for us in Barcelona, if you remember.

The glinting purple eyes lead us to believe that it's actually Dormammu being projected from the Dark Dimension - remember, it's affixed to the Quantum Realm by way of Marvel's Multiverse - which only spells bad news for Scott Lang as he bides his time until Avengers 4.

There's basically an endless list of possibilities revolving around the Quantum Realm.

We will see Scott "collecting particles" inside the Quantum Realm, which is rumoured to play a significant part in the upcoming final Avengers film, but when the film cuts back to the trio on the outside, we will see that they've been reduced to dust. Combine that with Janet's warning about the time vortex, and we have to wonder if Scott is gonna be involved in some time-travel shenanigans come Avengers 4. It is widely expected that the events of Captain Marvel will tie directly into Avengers 4 and, thanks to the Infinity War post-credits tease, we know the super heroine is on her way.

"Seriously, don't joke around, bring me up!" yells Scott, still in the quantum realm.

Check out what Paul Rudd had to say in the player above and below is exactly what we talked about. Like dozens of characters in Avengers: Infinity War, they have disintegrated and floated away.
