A "heartbroken" Ariana Grande has shared a tribute to her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who died over the weekend at the age of 26.

Miller was found dead Friday afternoon at his San Fernando Valley home. No caption accompanies the intimate photo, and Grande disabled comments on the Instagram post. Following the initial report of Miller's passing, people started flooding the "No Tears Left To Cry" singer's Instagram posts with comments like, "THIS IS YOUR FAULT", "You lowkey evil", and "It's insane because you really did kill him", according to screenshots shared by Pop Crave.

Taking to the photo-sharing site, she simply posted a candid picture of Mac.

"This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet", Grande wrote of Miller on Instagram after the split. 'There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time'.

The couple had dated for two years until parting ways in May, shortly before Miller was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and hit and run in Los Angeles.

Miller is said to have supported Grande through the aftermath of the Manchester terror attack in May 2017 and appeared with her on stage a month later at the One Love benefit concert.

Serena Williams is walking down the tunnel now and stops for her pre-match interview with ESPN's Tom Rinaldi. He's into the semifinals for the second year in a row, where he lost to top-ranked Rafael Nadal last year.

In May, shortly after their breakup, Miller crashed his vehicle and was charged with driving under the influence. He was open about his substance abuse disorder prior to his death.

"I wish it started tomorrow", he said on Thursday. We were together for two years.

He said: "I hung out with Mac a few times over the years and he was always such a sweetheart, always had the time of day for anyone, whoever they were".

Another collab soon followed suit when Ari guested on Mac's song My Favourite Part that same year.

Grande moved on romantically with "Saturday Night Live" star and now fiance, Pete Davidson. "So your first reaction is, 'Let me tell them I'm cool'".
