Baker Mayfield earned the game ball from coach Hue Jackson after rallying the Browns to their first win since the 2016 season.

Browns fans took to the streets late Thursday night and you'd think they won the Super Bowl by the way they celebrated their first regular season win in 635 days. The promotion was that the fridges were stocked with Bud Light and would be unlocked after Browns wins.

One of the lasting images of the Cleveland Cavaliers' 2016 National Basketball Association title celebration and its aftermath was the sight of veteran guard J.R. Smith without his shirt. Seven of those receptions came with Mayfield throwing to him.

"It's not the only win we're going to celebrate", Mayfield said. When asked how he was able to perform at a high level - completing 17 of 23 passes - he said the daunting circumstances were nothing new. The two also hooked up on a two-point conversion, though this time it was Landry throwing to Mayfield on a trick play.

Senate Republicans Stick with Thursday Kavanaugh Committee Vote
It took a lot of courage for Christine Blasey Ford to come forward to share her story of sexual assault by Brett Kavanaugh . Grassley said he was disappointed that Democrats - or Ford's attorney - had not come forward with the allegations sooner.

"Oh, I felt the energy", Mayfield said.

Baker Mayfield's first regular season game in the National Football League is going about as well as you can anticipate.

For Browns fans who have sustained their passion despite not seeing their team win the AFC North in nearly 30 years, a home playoff game would likely be even more welcome than a free beer.
