The Eagles reportedly reached out to the Bills about a possible trade for LeSean McCoy, according to CBS affiliate WIVB.

I know you're coming here hoping for a definitive answer: Is it Corey Clement or Wendell Smallwood who will replace Jay Ajayi, who will miss the rest of the year with a torn ACL?

The Eagles now have just over $4.3 million in cap space.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday evening that the Eagles restructured the contract of Pro-Bowl defensive tackle Fletcher Cox.

Kavanaugh says he's unchanged by bitter Supreme Court confirmation
Kavanaugh was officially sworn in Saturday night following the 50-48 vote in which he was confirmed by the Senate. The ceremonial follow-up event is fairly unusual for new justices.

McCoy has two seasons remaining on his deal. This year he's been banged up on a bad Bills team, rushing for just 170 yards in four games.

There were reports back in February that stated the Eagles inquired with the Bills in 2017 about trading for McCoy before landing Ajayi in a trade with the Miami Dolphins.

That information, though, could have been gleaned from a source with the Eagles interested in either maintaining leverage for eventual trade talks with the Steelers or possibly concerned about the morale of the running backs still active with the team.

Not too long after Ajayi was ruled out for the year, Howie Roseman and the Eagles front office got to work on the cap space situation. Philadelphia coach Doug Pederson loves to take risks - how about convincing his GM to trade for unhappy Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell?
