Diddy's former girlfriend and mother to 3 children dies

Kim Porter, mother to three children of hip hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, is dead.

Sean "Diddy" Combs' representative officially confirmed ex-girlfriend Kim Porter's death in a new statement to TMZ. "I ask that you give the families privacy at this time", a rep told Page Six.

Her official cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ site they had received a call at around midday to her Toluca Lake home, where she was found dead.

According to TMZ, Porter had went into cardiac arrest this morning after suffering from pneumonia for several weekS.

Their children are a 20-year-old son, Christian, and 11-year-old twin daughters, D'Lila Star and Jessie James. Named after her mentor Quincy Jones, Porter was involved in a relationship with singer Al B. Sure! which ended in the mid-90s.

As an actress, Porter appeared on the TV series "Wicked Wicked Games" in 2006 and 2007 and in the film "Mama I Want to Sing" in 2011.

Rapper 50 Cent took to Twitter to lead tributes to Kim, saying: "R.I.P.to Kim Porter, I send my condolences to her friends and family. Chin up, Puff. Positive vibes only". My condolences to Diddy and Kim's families.
