The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported on Monday that Brown did not play in the Steelers' win against the Bengals after having a dispute with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He allegedly stuck around until halftime and then left the stadium.

When asked about the player in the week offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner said: 'I'm not going to answer any questions about Antonio.

Tomlin said he has not received a formal trade request from Brown, according to Kinkhabwala. He has denied he was the player Brown allegedly threw a football at in a moment of anger last week.

"The bottom line is we were playing a significant game and he didn't do a good enough job of communicating of being available in the hours leading up to that performance", Tomlin said. "But he and I talked Thursday morning and there were no issues". So, I've been real clear at outlining what transpired, the level of communication, things of that nature. He ended up playing second fiddle, statistically, to fellow Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who had 1,426 receiving yards to Brown's 1,297.

Brave Cummins makes India wait for victory
His skipper hailed his ability to conjure wickets on any surface, labelling Bumrah as a man that was "obsessed" with the sport. Resuming on Saturday on 54-5, India declared on 106-8 after a facing a further 10.3 overs, setting Australia 399 runs to win.

Turns out that mystery teammate was quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Tomlin does believe that Brown was dealing with some type of injury, but added to his knowledge that Brown has not undergone the MRI. "I consider him one of my closer friends".

There is great turmoil within the Pittsburgh Steelers organization among the team's top power brokers and a blockbuster trade could be on the horizon. "I know guys that are frustrated". "If there was a blowup I sure as heck didn't see it".

On Wednesday's "Off the Bench" podcast (welcome 2019!), Danny Kanell and Raja Bell talk about the Steelers drama, and they discuss how much blame should fall on the shoulders of Tomlin and Roethlisberger.

Tomlin is expected to address the situation during a news conference scheduled for noon ET Wednesday.
