In going 10-23 from beyond the arc, Harden became only the eighth player in National Basketball Association history to attempt at least 20 3-pointers in a game. The Rockets are now on a 49-win pace, though their latest hot streak has them only 3.5 games out of the West's No.1 seed.

The play took place in the final 30 seconds of the overtime saga, when Warriors superstar Kevin Durant attempted to save a ball from going out of bounds on the Warriors' second-to-last possession.

"You don't. You can't", Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said when asked how Harden could be defended when he's hitting his stepback.

Houston has now won six in a row and is 22-15 on the season.

Cooked: Apple shares spiral as investors launch 'securities fraud' lawsuit
In a letter to investors Wednesday, CEO Tim Cook explained that Apple is grappling with several issues, many related to China. Services generated $10.8 billion in revenue for the quarter - a 27 percent increase from a year earlier.

Harden finished with more than 40 points for the fifth straight game and Capela added 29 points and 21 rebounds. He's averaging more points per game and he's hovering around the same number of assists, and lately he's looked completely impossible to stop even with Chris Paul injured. On paper, Harden likely gets the edge now, but the Lakers star also has more talent around him in the likes of Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Rajon Rondo, and other strong role players. In addition, the Rockets have the league's best record since Harden's scoring streak began on December 11.

"I need it, I need it for sure, and I'm gonna get it", Harden told The Athletic on Wednesday. It's simple as that.

"(People) talk too much about my fouls and not actually the greatness of what I'm doing out there on the court.
