Lady Gaga Opens Her Las Vegas Residency

Lady Gaga debuted her residency at Las Vegas' new resort, Park MGM, with a sold-out performance December 29.

Enigma was very theatrical and very "Gaga": she sang several songs while hovering over the crowd; she changed costumes multiple times; she also played into the Enigma theme, constantly speaking to the alien-like character on the screen.

After the 2018 year-end shows, the residency is spread out through 2019, from January until the beginning of November. The preview appears to resurrect PetGa, an "alien" interface of an app that generated users' auras that appeared alongside Gaga's 2013 ArtPop album. Her live band (which sounded absolutely brilliant inside the Park Theater), gave "Judas" an intense, industrial-metal treatment that might surprise regular Gaga fans, but it was easily one of the most interesting moments of the night. I love you so much.

Not only were the star's vocals on point, but she also showed off some impressive dance moves and even transformed into a giant robot at one point. "So in some small way, I guess my enigma came to me so I could share some small part of me with you".

Trump also claimed that Saudi Arabia had agreed to finance Syria's enormous reconstruction needs. Since then, most Arab countries have cut or downgraded their diplomatic relations with Syria.

Additionally, she debuted a new alter ego for the show, a metallic alien. I thought the way I dressed, the way I talk, the attitude, they thought it was shallow.

The debuts of Lady Gaga, On The Record and Eataly mark the final stage of the two-year, $550 million development at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Watch the Enigma reveal and see images from the show below.

To open the set, Gaga flew - suspended but flew - into Park MGM hotel to the tune of "Just Dance".
