Lampard urges Hudson-Odoi to snub Bayern Munich

Maurizio Sarri has criticised Bayern Munich for publicly stating their wish to recruit Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea. I think it is a great opportunity for him to do that'.

Chelsea and Sarri want the player, but Marina Granovskaia negotiated the deal and was unwilling to pay Higuain the same money he is receiving from Juventus, while the Argentine doesn't want his pay to decrease.

"As you know very well I am not in control of the transfer market", Sarri told a press conference today. I am happy with the player because he is improving, improving a lot in the defensive phase.

"At the moment Morata is here, so I think he has to think only to play".

Shifting Morata may be hard given his wages but Sarri has indicated he is happy for him to go provided the club sign a replacement.

Chelsea boss Sarri is furious that Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said this week that they "definitely" want to sign Hudson-Odoi during the January transfer window as he "has the qualities which would fit very well" with the German champions.

"In my opinion, he's a player who would fit in well at our club. But I don't need an important player like Cesc unhappy here". Let's see what happens.

Hudson-Odoi has only made one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season but has starred in cup competitions for the Blues.

Bookmakers believe there is a real chance that both William and Hudson-Odoi could leave.

"As you can understand very well, I cannot tell you where", he said.

But, having helped England win the Under-17 World Cup, Hudson-Odoi could follow the same path taken by his global teammate Jadon Sancho, who has impressed for Borussia Dortmund since leaving Manchester City for Germany.

The coach's options on the wing have improved with the return to fitness of Pedro and Willian, who on Thursday was the subject of reports that Barcelona had submitted an offer worth £50m to sign him, with Malcom heading the other way.
