Grande had great success in the last 12 months, with Billboard naming her its 2018 Woman of the Year.

"I've kept my mouth shut but now you're lying about me", she wrote.

While Grande did indeed skip the ceremony, she immediately reacted to the win on Twitter, explaining that if things had turned out differently, she'd be walking the red carpet right about now.

Grande blasted the comments in a social media post, saying she could have prepared a performance overnight.

Eventually, both parties reached a compromise that included "7 Rings" as part of a medley, and that Grande could pick whichever second song she wanted.

Camila Cabello will open the show with fellow Latino stars Ricky Martin and J Balvin and there will also be performances from Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Kacey Musgraves, Yolanda Adams, and Little Big Town, among others.

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards are broadcasting live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on CBS.
