Ariana Grande has been known to be a bit of a diva but ya know who tops her divaness?

A source told Variety that Ariana and the Grammy producers reached a compromise which would have seen her perform 7 Rings as part of a medley, but the 26-year-old opted against the performance when bosses told her the second song would be one they chose. In fact, she might not even attend.

Ariana Grande will not be performing at the Grammy Awards after reportedly falling out with the show's producers.

The source added that other scheduled performers did not receive the same stipulations. She followed that with "Imagine" and "7 Rings", the latter of which broke Spotify's record for most plays within a 24-hour period.

Sala's father, Horacio, reportedly told a local Argentinian broadcaster , "I can not believe it". The aircraft had been carrying Argentine footballer Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson .

ET Canada have reached out to Grande's rep and a Grammys spokesperson for comment.

The women nominees this year are Gaga, Grande, Cardi B, and Camila Cabello.

During an interview with Billboard a year ago, Ariana made it very clear that she is not a pushover in the industry. They instead offered her a spot during the Tom Petty tribute, which she declined. Kendrick Lamar and Drake are the top Grammy contenders, earning eight and seven nominations respectively while Brandi Carlile is up for six awards.

Ari's been nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance for God is a Woman and Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener, and has been featured on billboards all over the country to promote the show - so, her absence will be awkward to say the least. The song is the second track from her new album "thank u, next" expected to be released February 8 before the awards show.
