Florida Republican Congressman Michael Waltz was "surprised" by sexist comments made by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, unearthed over the weekend by Media Matters for America, for which Carlson refuses to apologize.

"Media Matters caught me saying something naughty on a radio show more than a decade ago", he told Newsweek.

Media Matters president Angelo Carusone simultaneously bragged on social media that the tapes of Tucker Carlson were dropped at a time when Fox News was to host an event for their biggest advertisers.

"Rather than express the usual ritual contrition, how about this: I'm on television every weeknight live for an hour", Carlson said.

And some even came to the conclusion that combing through years worth of radio interviews would be a daunting task for someone who's a "loser".

"If you're talking to a feminist", he said, "and she's given you, 'Well, men really need to be more sensitive, ' no, actually, men don't need to be more sensitive".

SNC-Lavalin shares were down 0.44 percent at 3 pm eastern (2000 GMT), in line with declines in the broader market. The federal prosecution office asked the Federal Court to dismiss the company's request for judicial review.

He's not accused of touching anybody; he is accused of facilitating a marriage between a 16-year-old girl and a 27-year-old man. He's an accessory to the rape of children.

"I am not defending underage marriage at all", Carlson was recorded saying. The rapist in this case has made a lifelong commitment to women take care of the person. "You are driven by biology to procreate, so you are either going to be inflicting your attentions on one of your peers, who let's be honest is not ready for it; she's going to get hurt emotionally-90 percent, I mean I've never seen a woman-girl-not hurt at that age". Indeed, leftists aren't just unoffended by Carlson's comments - they're excited. He also described women as "extremely primitive", and used words such as "pig" and the c-word. What do you mean in accessory?

Then, in an October 2009 show, Bubba the Love Sponge launched into what appeared to be a hypothetical description of the young girls at the boarding school attended by Carlson's daughter experimenting with each other sexually. Do you believe what he has said in the past is relevant for today?

Carlson also had choice words for women, among them Martha Stewart's daughter, who he agreed with the hosts was "c*nty".

"We certainly want to make sure [the new audio tapes] are released when they can be most helpful to the media buying decision makers", the Media Matters spokesperson said in an email. I'm gonna State My bias right out front here, but I heard her on with him and I just wanted to get for the spanking.
