Xiaomi Can Recharge a 4,000mAh Battery in 17 Minutes

The smartphone with 4,000mAh battery charged from 0 to 100% within just 17 minutes.

Xiaomi wants the world to know it cannot only sell out of new phones within 20 minutes but it can also fully charge the power-hungry devices in the same amount of time.

In the video demonstration, Xiaomi's Super Charge Turbo is tested with a 4000mAh device and the OPPO with a 3700mAh device.

The Xiaomi "Super Charge Turbo" technology will be the world's fastest flash charging technology, offering a whopping 100W wired fast charging support. It would also beat Oppo's 50W Super VOOC technology which gives 50% juice in 15 minutes. Meanwhile, Lin Bin, President and co-founder of Xiaomi, has shared a video of its latest fast charging technology.

Xiaomi is expected to make its Super Charge Turbo tech official today and is expected to add it to the future Xiaomi smartphones. On the other hand, OPPO's SuperVOOC Flash Charge power adapter offers up to 5oW (10V/5A) power output. Furthermore, Redmi Head Lu Weibing also announced that this technology is already in mass production, and a Redmi phone will adopt it first.

According to Gizmochina, Lu revealed that Redmi phones will be the first to benefit from Xiaomi's Super Charge Turbo battery tech, however he didn't offer a timeline for their availability. So, it might be a possibility that the next Redmi phone may come packed with Xiaomi's 100W fast charging technology.
